What does it taste like?
Herbal, with a mild sour finish — the botanicals come through rather than being masked by sweetener. It is meant to taste like something that does you good, and most people find it easy to keep drinking daily.
What does Tiger Milk King actually do?
It supports your lungs and respiratory tract — easing coughing and throat irritation, helping with nasal congestion, and supporting the airways through allergy and flu seasons. The Vitamin C contributes to normal immune function alongside the botanicals.
What is Tiger Milk Mushroom?
Tiger Milk Mushroom (Lignosus rhinocerus) is a fungus native to Malaysia with over 500 years of documented use among indigenous communities, traditionally turned to for coughs, breathlessness and chest complaints. Its name comes from the folk belief that it grew where a tigress had nursed her cubs.
Is the mushroom wild-harvested or cultivated?
Cultivated. Wild Tiger Milk Mushroom is genuinely scarce and varies enormously in strength depending on where and how it grew. Cultivation means every box carries a consistent dose, keeps it free from microorganisms, heavy metals and environmental pollution, and takes the pressure off a rare wild species.
What is in it?
Five ingredients: Tiger Milk Mushroom, Loquat, Crystal Pear, Licorice Root and Vitamin C. No artificial colours or preservatives.
Is it a medicine?
No. Tiger Milk King is a food supplement, not a drug. It is designed to be taken consistently over a long period rather than to treat anything, and it is never a substitute for medication your doctor has prescribed.
Can I take it alongside prescription medication?
There is currently no research showing an interaction between Tiger Milk Mushroom and prescription drugs, but leave a gap of at least 2 hours either side to be safe. Keep taking whatever your doctor has prescribed — this sits alongside it, never in place of it. If you are on regular medication, mention it to your doctor or pharmacist.
I already take cough syrup. Can I take both?
Yes, with the same 2-hour gap between the two. Do not stop a prescribed cough treatment in order to take this instead.
Can I take it if I have asthma or another diagnosed condition?
Asthma, bronchitis and similar conditions are medical diagnoses, and this is a food supplement — so please speak to your doctor before adding it, and never reduce or stop prescribed medication on your own. Where a doctor is happy for you to take it, keep the 2-hour gap from your other medicines.
Can pregnant or breastfeeding mothers take it?
We do not recommend starting any supplement during pregnancy or breastfeeding without your doctor's approval. Please check with them first.
Is it suitable for children?
It is formulated for adults. For children, please consult a healthcare professional before use.
How soon will I notice a difference?
Most people report a difference in respiratory comfort within 2 to 4 weeks of consistent daily use. Botanicals work gradually — give it a full 30-day box before judging it.
Might I bring up more phlegm at first?
Some people do in the first few days, and it is generally taken as a sign the airways are clearing. It usually settles within a week. If it persists or anything feels unusual, stop taking it and speak to a healthcare professional.
